Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information PDFPro (pdfpro.shop) collects, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the PDFPro website and all of its PDF tools. Effective date: June 1, 2026.

1. Who We Are

PDFPro (pdfpro.shop) is an online service for working with PDF files. It is operated by PDFPro and based in New York, USA. In this policy, 'PDFPro', 'we', 'us' and 'our' refer to the operator of pdfpro.shop. 'You' means anyone who visits the site or uses our tools.

For the purposes of data protection laws such as the EU and UK GDPR, PDFPro is the data controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at tooooty27h@gmail.com.

By using pdfpro.shop you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information we need to run the service, keep it secure, process payments and show advertising. The categories are described below.

  • Account data: a free account is required to use our tools. When you register we collect your email address and the credentials you use to sign in, such as a password or other sign-in details. We also keep basic account information such as your plan (Free, $1 One-File Pass or Pro) and the date you registered.
  • Uploaded files: the PDF and other documents you upload so that a tool can process them, and the output files the tool produces. These are handled as described in Section 4 and are automatically and permanently deleted within 1 hour.
  • Usage and log data: technical information collected automatically when you use the site, such as your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, referring page, pages and tools used, actions taken, timestamps, error reports and the size and type of files processed. We do not read the content of your files to build this data.
  • Payment-related data: when you buy a $1 One-File Pass or a Pro subscription, payment is handled by Whop. We receive confirmation of the transaction, your plan status and similar order details. We do not receive or store your card number.
  • Communications: if you email us, we keep your message, your email address and our replies so that we can help you and keep a record of the request.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: small files and identifiers stored on your device, described in Sections 8 to 10.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your account, authenticate you and keep you signed in.
  • To provide the tools you request, process your files and return the results to you.
  • To apply the correct plan limits: 25 MB per upload on the free plan, one operation on a file up to 100 MB with the $1 One-File Pass, and up to 500 MB with Pro, which also unlocks all 30 tools including the Pro-only tools and Batch Studio.
  • To process purchases and manage subscriptions through Whop.
  • To send transactional emails such as account verification, password resets, purchase confirmations and important service notices.
  • To maintain, secure and improve the service, including debugging, preventing abuse and fraud, and monitoring performance.
  • To display advertising, including through Google AdSense, as described in Section 9.
  • To respond to your questions and requests and to exercise or defend legal rights.
  • To comply with legal obligations such as tax, accounting and lawful requests from authorities.

4. File Processing and 1-Hour Automatic Deletion

When you upload a file, it is transferred to PDFPro servers over an encrypted HTTPS/TLS connection. The file is processed on our servers only to perform the operation you requested, such as merging, compressing, converting, editing or running OCR.

Uploaded files and the output files generated from them are automatically and permanently deleted within 1 hour. Files are never shared with third parties for their own purposes, never sold, and never used for training machine learning or artificial intelligence models.

Our staff do not routinely open or review the content of your files. Because deletion is automatic and permanent, we cannot recover a file after it has been removed, so please download your results promptly. You should not upload files that you do not have the right to process.

Our logs record technical facts about an operation, such as the tool used, file size, time and whether it succeeded. They do not contain the content of your documents.

5. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA, UK and Similar Laws)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information only where we have a legal basis to do so under the GDPR or UK GDPR:

  • Performance of a contract: to create your account, provide the tools and process your files, and to deliver the plan you have purchased.
  • Legitimate interests: to secure and improve the service, prevent fraud and abuse, understand how the tools are used, and respond to inquiries. We balance these interests against your rights and freedoms.
  • Consent: for non-essential cookies and similar technologies, including advertising and personalization cookies used for Google AdSense. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation: to meet tax, accounting and other legal requirements, and to respond to valid legal requests.

6. Payments Through Whop

Payments for the $1 One-File Pass and the $10/month Pro plan are processed by Whop, a third-party payment platform. When you pay, you are providing your payment details to Whop, not to PDFPro. PDFPro never sees or stores your card numbers.

Whop shares with us limited information needed to fulfill your order, such as confirmation that a payment was made, the product purchased, your plan status and your contact email. Whop acts under its own terms and privacy policy, which we encourage you to read on the Whop website. For questions about billing, refunds or card data, you may need to contact Whop in addition to us.

7. Transactional Email Through Resend

We use Resend, a third-party email delivery provider, to send transactional emails. These include account verification messages, password reset links, purchase confirmations and important notices about your account or the service. To do this, we share your email address and the content of the message with Resend, which processes it only on our behalf to deliver it.

These emails are necessary to operate your account and are not marketing messages.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. We use them for the following purposes:

  • Essential cookies: needed to sign you in, keep your session secure, remember your plan and protect against abuse. The service cannot work properly without them.
  • Preference and consent cookies: remember your choices, including your cookie consent settings.
  • Analytics and performance: help us understand how the site is used and fix problems, where such tools are enabled.
  • Advertising cookies: set by Google and its partners to serve and measure ads, described in Section 9.

9. Google AdSense and Advertising Cookies

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on pdfpro.shop. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Google uses the DoubleClick cookie, which enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your prior visits to this site and other sites. These ads may be personalized to your interests, depending on your settings and, where required, your consent.

Other third-party vendors and ad networks may also place or read cookies or similar technologies on your browser when you visit our site, in order to deliver and measure advertising. We do not control these third parties' cookies, and their use is governed by their own privacy policies.

You can choose how advertising is personalized for you:

  • Opt out of personalized advertising from Google by visiting Google Ads Settings at https://www.google.com/settings/ads.
  • Opt out of personalized advertising from participating third-party vendors and ad networks by visiting https://www.aboutads.info.
  • Manage or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
  • If you are in the EEA or UK, use our cookie consent controls to accept or reject advertising cookies.

10. Cookie Consent for EEA and UK Visitors

If you visit pdfpro.shop from the EEA or the United Kingdom, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, including advertising and personalization cookies. Essential cookies that are strictly necessary to provide the service do not require consent.

You may accept or reject non-essential cookies, and you can change your mind at any time by adjusting your cookie settings or by clearing the cookies in your browser. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it. If you do not consent to personalized advertising, you may still see ads, but they will not be personalized based on your cookie data.

11. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your uploaded files with anyone for their own purposes. We share information only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers acting on our behalf: Whop (payment processing), Resend (transactional email) and hosting and infrastructure providers that run our servers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Advertising partners: Google and other third-party vendors and ad networks, through cookies and similar technologies, as described in Section 9.
  • Legal and safety reasons: when we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process or a valid government request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of PDFPro, our users or others.
  • Business changes: if PDFPro is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, and we will take reasonable steps to make sure it remains protected.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

12. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy:

  • Uploaded and output files: automatically and permanently deleted within 1 hour.
  • Account data: kept while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your account data, except where we must keep certain information for legal reasons.
  • Transaction and billing records: kept as long as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Card details are held by Whop, not by us.
  • Usage and log data: kept for a limited period needed for security, troubleshooting and service improvement, and then deleted or anonymized.
  • Support communications: kept for as long as needed to resolve your request and to maintain a record of it.
  • Cookies: kept for the duration set for each cookie. Third-party cookies are subject to the retention periods of those providers.

13. International Data Transfers

PDFPro is based in the United States, and your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country.

When we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK or Switzerland to countries that have not been recognized as providing an adequate level of protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards where required, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally recognized mechanisms. You may contact us for more information about the safeguards that apply.

14. Security

We take the security of your information seriously. Files are transmitted to our servers over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections, are processed only to deliver the operation you request, and are automatically and permanently deleted within 1 hour. Payments are handled by Whop, so card numbers never pass through or are stored by PDFPro. We also use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and keep your sign-in details confidential. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

15. Your Rights Under the GDPR and UK GDPR

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Rectification: to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Erasure: to ask us to delete your personal information in certain circumstances.
  • Restriction: to ask us to limit how we process your information in certain circumstances.
  • Portability: to receive your information in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to have it transmitted to another controller where applicable.
  • Objection: to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including processing for direct marketing or advertising purposes.
  • Withdraw consent: to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it, for example for advertising cookies.
  • Complaint: to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority, such as your national authority in the EEA or the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.

16. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you certain rights over your personal information. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use or share your uploaded files for advertising or for training.

Some advertising cookies, such as those used by Google AdSense, may be considered 'sharing' for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out through the advertising controls described in Section 9 or through your browser settings. Your rights include:

  • The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose and sell or share, and the categories of sources and purposes.
  • The right to access the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
  • The right to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
  • The right to limit the use of sensitive personal information where applicable. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
  • The right not to be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

17. Children's Privacy

PDFPro is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under 16 in the EEA (or such lower age as set by the law of an EEA member state, where applicable). If you are below the applicable age, please do not create an account or use the service.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child below the applicable age without proper consent, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at tooooty27h@gmail.com.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements or the features of the service. When we make changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date at the top. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example by email or a notice on the site. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy, except where the law requires your consent.
