HTML to PDF online: save web pages and html files as pdf

HTML to PDF turns an HTML file or a public web page into a plain, readable PDF. It is useful for keeping a copy of an article, saving documentation for offline reading, or archiving the text of a page before it changes.

The tool is text-focused. It keeps headings, paragraphs, lists, tables and links on A4 pages, but it does not reproduce the original page design. Images, scripts, forms, embedded media and the site's own CSS styling are not included, so you get a clean document rather than a screenshot of the page.

Why use PDFPro HTML to PDF

Nothing to install

The conversion runs on PDFPro servers, so you do not need a print dialog, browser extension or desktop software. Processing time depends on how large the page or file is.

Readable, structured output

Headings, paragraphs, lists, tables and links are kept and placed on standard A4 pages. Because scripts, forms, embedded media and site CSS are dropped, the PDF stays simple and easy to read or print.

Encrypted transfer

Your file or link is sent to our servers over an encrypted HTTPS/TLS connection. Files are never shared, sold or used for training.

Automatic deletion

Uploaded and converted files are automatically and permanently deleted within 1 hour. You do not need to remove anything yourself.

Works on your device

Use it in any modern browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android. There is nothing to install on any of them.

Privacy & security

When you upload an HTML file or submit a page link, the content is sent to PDFPro servers over an encrypted HTTPS/TLS connection. For a link, our servers fetch the public page so it can be converted. Private and internal network addresses are blocked, and pages behind a login cannot be converted.

Files are automatically and permanently deleted within 1 hour. They are never shared, sold or used for training. If you buy a $1 One-File Pass or the Pro plan, payments are processed by Whop, and PDFPro never sees or stores your card numbers. Questions can be sent to tooooty27h@gmail.com.

Frequently asked questions

Why are images and styling missing from my PDF?

This tool converts the text structure of a page. It keeps headings, paragraphs, lists, tables and links, but images, scripts, forms, embedded media and the site's own CSS are not included. The result is a clean, readable document and not an exact visual copy of the page.

Can I convert a page that requires me to log in?

No. Pages behind a login cannot be converted, because our servers can only fetch publicly available pages. As a workaround, save the page as an HTML file from your browser and upload that file instead, though the saved file's content will still be converted as text only.

What are the size limits?

On the free plan you can upload an .html or .htm file up to 25 MB. When you use a link, the page's HTML can be up to 5 MB. If your file is larger than 25 MB, a $1 One-File Pass allows one operation on a file up to 100 MB, and the Pro plan allows files up to 500 MB.

Can I convert an internal or local address?

No. Private and internal network addresses are blocked for security reasons. Only public http or https links can be converted, so intranet pages and local servers will not work with the link option.

Is HTML to PDF free to use?

Yes, it is included in the free plan, and you need a free account to use it. You only need a paid option if your file exceeds the 25 MB free limit. The Pro plan is $10 per month and also unlocks all 30 tools and Batch Studio.
